Regular Exrpessions

The regular expressions presented in class seemed okay until the * symbol showed up. It became very confusing and the proof that was presented made me even more confused. I went to the csc help centre and they explained how the * in this course's examples worked. I understand now so yay, but the proof is a little sketchy too. When DFSA was introduced, it sounded like a subject that would be easy, because topics with very long and confusing titles tend to be easy. It is where the name adds some confusion into the material haha. Anyways, it is not the case here. It is not so bad, I like how Danny explained it in class, he explains it so well even though he uses non-everyday words. Atleast I understand it.

Right now I'm looking at the final problem set due this thursday, and I must say, i spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how to deal with languages and stuff in this context. I'm going to attempt it now and I'll see how I do after this night. Bye for now.

This course is getting harder =[

WOW, test 2 was not fair hahaha. Well it was, I'm just saying that because I didn't do such a good job. I find the material to be very challenging for me. I think this course is taking an unusual turn. I'm just not understanding. I tried to go over the slides many times and follow up on notes, but I can't seem to get the material through my head. I guess the next step would be to try to go to office hours. It is week 10 in the course and the material after test 2 is more harder. Hmm I wonder if going to the csc help centre everyday and asking so many questions would help. I'll try that and see what happens. I need all the help i can get for A3. I don't know anybody in the course so I can't find a partner for it.
